I like the Monkees.  They used to play their show on some TV station in the afternoons, when I was in high school.  I'd go home after school and watch it.  It was a fun show.  I pulled this song out, not just because the subject matter is perfect, but because it epitomizes what was enjoyable about the TV show.  Just lighthearted entertainment.  Everything doesn't always have to be Very Important; great art, or vital causes.  Some things are just fun, and that's okay.
